When you are looking for a new home, selecting a builder is one of the most important decisions you will make. A builder that has high quality standards, is easy to work with, creates unique custom homes, and then absolutely stands behind their products are the characteristics of a builder that has your best interest in mind.
Prairie Homes uses these values to build homes for their customers. When walking through one of our homes it doesn’t take long to notice the attention to detail, craftsmanship, and design uniqueness that flows through each of the homes we build.
The founders of Prairie Homes, Bob & Alex Ewy, are dedicated to creating a home that has lasting integrity, a home that you are proud to call your own. We have a hands-on investment in every home we build which insures that your home gets finished to their high standards.
Some of the trademark effects of a Prairie Homes are the extra high ceilings, the extensive wood moldings, trim, and tile details found throughout the house. When you purchase a Prairie Home you are also purchasing dependable brand name products such as energy efficient Pella windows, reliable General Electric appliances, quality Lennox heating and air conditioning systems, and Delta faucets. You can choose from stylish oil rubbed bronze or a variety of other finishes for all of your hardware and lighting fixtures. All these features are considered standard with Prairie Homes.
Prairie Homes also adheres to top-notch construction standards. We use engineered floor joists from Louisiana Pacific to create a strong and flat floor system. Then we use over two thousand screws to further insure the floors never squeak. The sides of the home are first completely covered in Dupont Tyvek and then James Hardy engineered shingles, Louisiana Pacific siding, stone, or stucco is used to finish them. The home is then topped off with a roof of 50 year shingles that provide protection for your home through all seasons.
The goal of Prairie Homes is to create a home that leaves a lasting impression for generations to come. If you have an appreciation for quality craftsmanship and quality materials then you owe it to yourself to look at Prairie Homes. Currently models are available for viewing in Prime Development’s Prairie Brook subdivision located in the West Olathe growth corridor off K-7 Highway and College Boulevard and at Nottingham Realty’s Fairfield at Heritage Park subdivision in South Olathe at 165th and Lackman.
